Agassiz Rental Protection Plan (ARPP) – Key Points Optional Fee: 14% of rental charges, plus applicable taxes. Not Insurance: Covers only certain equipment loss, theft, or damage. Lost/Stolen Equipment: Customer pays 10% of replacement cost if conditions are met. Accidental Damage: Customer pays 10% of repair costs if conditions are met. Rental Charges: Remain payable until the date of loss or theft, or until damaged equipment is returned. Requirements: Use equipment properly, follow maintenance instructions, keep account current, and report damage or theft immediately. Theft must be reported to police, with a copy of the report provided to Agassiz Rentals. Exclusions: No protection for misuse, poor maintenance, tires/tracks/glass, excessive cleaning, transportation damage, environmental damage, unauthorized locations, or intentional/reckless acts. Third-Party Liability: Does not cover injury, death, property damage, or other third-party claims. Customer must arrange separate insurance if needed. Recovered Equipment: Must be returned to Agassiz Rentals; payments made for loss or theft are non-refundable. Customer Responsibility: Customer remains responsible for equipment until it is returned and accepted by Agassiz Rentals. Agreement: Accepting ARPP means agreeing to all terms, conditions, and exclusions. The rental agreement takes precedence where applicable.
